Our products
Our web site allows a patient to manage their health care by working with their clinical team. Using our site, a patient can:
- securely send messages to their clinician, e.g. “should I change my insulin dose?”
- send data that their clinicians increasingly need, e.g. “here is my blood sugar measurement from this morning”
- receive data that they need from their clinicians, e.g. “here are graphs of my long-term sugar control”
The web site is already integrated into the National Health Service (NHS), approved by the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB), and it is built for security and patient-controlled privacy.
Integrated into the NHS
Our UK data center is inside the NHS Connecting for Health virtual private network. This means it is highly secure, and integrated into existing NHS infrastructure.
Approved by the RNIB
We designed the software for patients’ needs. This includes making it usable for people visual disabilities, which is why our site is certified by the Royal National Institute of Blind People.
Built for security
Security levels are high in every part of our platform and exceed NHS requirements. As transparency is one of our core values we have published our entire architecture and you can read about it an independent security report by the University of Hertfordshire.
Patient-controlled privacy
Our software puts the patient in control. Each patient’s data are locked and only the patient can unlock them. The patient can then grant access to others in their care team – doctors, nurses, and relatives – all of whom are working to improve the patient’s health.
