Patients Know Best was started by Dr Mohammad Al-Ubaydli, a patient with a long-term illness. There are 10 million other patients like him in the UK alone, with long-term illnesses like diabetes, asthma, and heart disease. We built our web site to help these patients manage their illnesses.
Use PKB to work online with all the people who care about improving your health. Our site is secure, and for UK patients, our software is already built into the NHS secure network. You control who gets to access your PKB records by inviting your doctors, nurses, carers and relatives. By working together we hope that your health improves.
At the moment, accounts are only available through partner institutions, starting with the University of Cambridge’s Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Later this year we will open up our system for direct patient registration. If you would like us to let you know when this happens, please fill out this form.
